Having collaborated on multiple projects with HasztagMedia, owned by Robert Jałocha, developing their website felt like a natural progression. The design had to align with the agency’s logo, offering me creative freedom within those bounds.
The Case Study (responsive one page portfolio website)
It all started with a simple one page website with just a few crucial information. Literally, there was a logo and three tiles with contact information, a sample video and a brief history of Robert’s cooperation with the main Polish TV channels.
In terms of the design I went for warm gradients corresponding to the logo. It also felt natural to create a grid, tiled layout instead of a classical menu.
Initially created as a simple one page website, the content grew alongside the client’s enthusiasm. Although designed as a temporary placeholder, the project evolved extensively due to the client’s excitement. While it’s unusual for me to maintain a one-page layout with such an overwhelming content, our successful history made it an exception. To handle a diverse portfolio on a single page, I used layered popups and an off-canvas screen, creating a unique and interactive website. Despite my concerns about loading times, the solution works seamlessly and the client is satisfied with his new responsive one page portfolio website.
