    The Brief

A very innovative Polish manufacturer specialising in smart city furniture, including innovative products like smart solar benches, solar infokiosks, and solar e‑scooter chargers, requested to develop a one-page WordPress website for their dedicated app, enabling remote management of their products.

I received a very detailed and well-prepared graphic design of the complete website. My task was to implement it to WordPress.

The Case Study (one page WordPress website)

With a history of successful collaboration spanning over two years, having previously worked as the webmaster for their main website (SEEDiA), this project marked another chapter in our ongoing partnership.

The implementation process went smoothly. I was supervised by the author of the graphic design who pointed out a few minor improvements in optimisation for large displays (above 4K). The main container of the website was fluid, which caused the entire content to stretch to extreme dimensions. This broke the layout entirely for high resolution screens.

Luckily the theme I’m working with — which is Astra PRO — has some predefined container layouts, so all I had to do was to switch from “Full Width” to “Normal” container. For desktops I set the width of the main content’s container to 1440 px. This made the content displayed on screens with higher resolutions contained in the specified width.

A crucial aspect was the client’s request for an intuitive visual page builder. In 2021 I used to work with Beaver Builder which, in my opinion, was way faster than any other visual page builder at that time. If I were to develop this website once again, I would do it using Spectra PRO.

Features InCity liked most in their one page WordPress website:

One page clean design, with concise content
Easy and intuitive content editing using Beaver Builder
    Simple, yet engaging animated effects
